for most europeansa a 30 days visa is issued upon entry

getting in and out

entered by ferry through tangiers. we had no problems with anyone at the tangiers border. it seems, that the authorities in tangiers have cracked down on pushers and all kinds of criminals, often described by travellers.

leaving to mauritania through dakhla

there are different reports about the military convoy between dakhla and fort guregarat. some people say there are no more convoys, others say they·re still being run...(?) the piste between the moroccon border and the first military post in mauritania is heavily mined. you·re ok if you stay on the piste, but don·t attempt to leave it, not even for a meter!
