| Text: | km 70’037 again, i worked a lot at the cyber cafe. i also spent a lot of time in one of the steet-side cafes, drinking beer, eating some lebanese ‘mezza’ and reading my newspaper. in the evening i joined pascale to eat in a pizzeria. it was a quiet place with just a couple of benches in a lush garden. the pizza ofen was a self-made construction of bricks and an old oildrum. but the pizzas were great, probably the best i have tried in africa, so far. there were also some of pascales friends who work for the UN. one of them, a fellow swiss-man, lives in nairobi and invited me to stay at his place when i was in the region. |
