| Text: | km 56 731 first of all it's my brothers birthday: HAPPY BIRTHDAY FABIO! i left my passport, a typed explanation about why i want to exted my ivoiran visa, a photocopy of my hotel payment receipt, two photos and CFA 20'000 at the immigration department this morning. i hope that that there won't be any problems, extending my visa, and that the fact that i'm staying in an expensive place like the novotel will help... there should really be no problems, but with the bureaucratie here, one never knows. i left the luxury of the novotel around noon and returned once again to the coppa cabana campsite. i have a new neighbour, sergio from italy. we got along well from the first moment. unlike most other visitors, he's here for work. he buys furniture and antiques, which he then sends to italy in a container. he'd bought furniture in afghanistan last year and we spend the evening talking about our travel experiences in afghanistan. |
